Golden holds bachelor’s degrees in politics and environmental studies from Whitman College, and was an Annenberg Dean’s Scholar at the University of Southern California, where she earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism. She also studied Financing and Deploying Clean Energy at Yale University, where she continues to serve as an Ambassador. She loves rivers, dogs and boats.
