Sasha Yegorov

Sasha is a Senior Product Manager overseeing the development and management of fleet and residential managed charging solutions. His work focuses on improving grid utilization and advancing electrification by protecting grid assets through real-time load rebalancing, managed EV charging, and on-site energy distribution across distributed energy resources (DERs).

Sasha has more than 10 years of software engineering experience, leading the development and launch of hardware and software solutions used by millions of users worldwide, as well as over 15 years of experience in product management. Prior to Itron, Sasha was employee #21 at Electric Motor Werks, a startup that developed the JuiceBox Level 2 EV charger and was later acquired by Enel X. He also worked at Rivian, where he was responsible for EV public and home charging applications and backend services, enabling the launch of Rivian R1 vehicles, Level 2 chargers, and Rivian’s AC and DC fast-charging networks.

Sasha holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and is the author of several granted patents, including inventions related to EV charging.
