Scott Bolton began their work experience as a Signals Intelligence Analyst for the US Army in 1989 and worked there until 1993. Scott then worked as a Veterans Representative for the U.S. House of Representatives from 1993 to 1996, after which they became a Staff Member for the United States Senate from 1996 to an unknown end date in 1998. In 2004, they started working at PacifiCorp as a Manager-Director-Vice President of Government Affairs, and later on, held several senior executive positions such as Vice President of Community and Government Relations, Vice President of External Affairs, and Senior Vice President of External Affairs and Customer Solutions. Scott worked at PacifiCorp until June 2023 and during their time there they were a Senior Vice President of Transmission Development from 2021 to 2023. Scott currently holds the position of Executive Vice President, Global Policy and Regulatory Affairs at Hydrostor since June 2023.
Scott Bolton attended Portland State University from an unknown start year until 1996, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Scott then attended Marylhurst University and graduated in 2002 with a Master of Business Administration degree. Later on, Scott attended Willamette University and received education in Utility Management, completing their studies in 2007.
