Sean Metivier

Sean Metivier is the Head of Sustainability and Decarbonization Advisory at Siemens, where he leads the Advisory Services team. His team drives strategic initiatives both internally—advancing Siemens’ Net Zero objectives—and externally, guiding customers through their own sustainability and energy transition journeys. Sean’s scope of work spans climate target setting, decarbonization implementation planning, ESG reporting and data digitalization, climate risk and double materiality assessments, and broader advisory engagements focused on resilience and performance. With 25 years of experience, Sean holds an MS in Climate Change Science and a BS in Environmental Biology from Syracuse University. He is a recipient of the Corporate Eco Forum Sustainability Leadership Development Challenge (2017) and is certified as a Greenhouse Gas Inventory Quantifier (GHG-IQ) and in Product Management.
