Shannon Cosentino-Roush

For the last 20 years, my career has been shaped by a commitment to building innovative solutions that advance sustainability and drive lasting systems change. This passion has taken me around the world—from my home in the California Bay Area to Washington D.C., Africa, Asia, and back home again to Silicon Valley.

Today, I serve as a Strategic Advisor to climate and nature-focused organizations, helping senior leadership turn bold ideas into scalable solutions. I partner with early movers to strengthen market and product positioning, design innovative communication and policy campaigns, and build cross-sector partnerships. I have expertise across Climate, Food Systems, Ocean, and Biodiversity.

Prior to this I served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Finless Foods, a Bay-Area based climate and food tech start-up working to advance alternative proteins. There I helped grow the company from seed to Series B, scaling the team and raising more than $50 million USD. I led the marketing, communications, policy and regulatory, sales, and sustainability teams—guiding our first product to market, submitting regulatory filings to the U.S. FDA, advancing policy in support of food system innovation, and speaking at global forums including UNOC, COP28, MIT EmTech, and Bloom.

Across all of my work, I thrive on translating vision into action, navigating the messy middle between strategy and execution, and building ecosystems that help breakthrough ideas take flight.
