With experience spanning both clean and conventional energy—from battery energy storage analysis at BloombergNEF to oil and gas auditing and consulting at Ernst & Young—Sherida also brings her expertise into the classroom as a STEM educator. This unique blend of corporate and pedagogical experience fuels her commitment to advancing sustainability through both industry insights and education.
Sherida’s work, whether through her nonprofit or as the founder of Green Quotient Solutions, is consistently driven by a commitment to accessibility, education, and global collaboration. At Green Quotient Solutions, she focuses on developing sustainability solutions that not only provide technical insights but also translate that knowledge into tangible impact for clients. By bridging expertise with real-world application, Green Quotient Solutions helps clients—whether businesses, students, or professionals—enhance their understanding, seize new opportunities, and ultimately elevate both their sustainability literacy (their ‘GQ’) and economic potential.
Looking ahead, Sherida’s long-term goals include advancing sustainable energy solutions in the Global South and enhancing grid resilience, with a focus on fostering local leadership and collaboration. Through her work, she seeks to bridge the gap between education, policy, and actionable change, creating a more sustainable and equitable future for future generations.
Sherida earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in 2020.
