Sophia Wang

Associate Director, Corporate Sustainability
Gilead Sciences
Sophia Wang is responsible for Gilead’s environmental sustainability data reporting, greenhouse gas inventories, and renewable energy and carbon credit strategies. This includes refinement and development of methodologies as new data/technologies/requirements emerge. She is also currently a member of the GHG Protocol Scope 2 Technical Working Group.

Prior to joining Gilead, Sophia was a sustainability consultant for almost two decades–with product and corporate sustainability experience at WSP Environmental and Anthesis. She supported a variety of Fortune 500 clients on their sustainability programs–including greenhouse gas inventories, science-based targets, frameworks for internal carbon fees, and voluntary reporting. She has worked in and reviewed a plethora of enterprise sustainability data systems.

Sophia is based in Seattle, Washington. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, practicing yoga, and dancing hula.
