Sydney Vergis

Sydney Vergis is an Assistant Division Chief in the Industrial Strategies Division, where her responsibilities include development and implementation of California’s landmark climate disclosure laws as well as helping to oversee climate programs. Previous responsibilities included overseeing new and emerging air pollution control programs and policies related to mobile source emissions including developing and implementing medium, heavy duty, and off road emissions regulations as well as many of CARB’s incentive programs. She previously led CARB’s Legislative Office and is a former Senior Land Use Planner and Yolo County Planning Commissioner.
