Sydney Williams is a Jamaican sustainability professional dedicated to advancing equitable climate solutions through finance, data, and public-private partnerships. She is pursuing a Master’s in Environmental Management at Duke University, where she serves as Student Council President and the Diverse, Innovate, Vibrant Environmental Scholars Program Lead Coordinator.
Sydney has supported global climate finance efforts at RMI’s Climate Finance Access Network and led equity-focused projects at the Open Space Institute. She is currently conducting a feasibility study on de-risking critical sites for investment in microgrid projects across Barbados.
Passionate about climate justice and energy transition, Sydney works to create impactful, sustainable solutions for vulnerable communities.
