Sylvia Lee

Sylvia leads a cross-functional team at Meta responsible for the company’s Net Zero program, greenhouse gas and water inventories, climate data foundations, and direct emissions reductions. She initiated Meta’s water and biodiversity sustainability programs and oversees climate risk and resilience strategy for Meta’s global portfolio. Previously, she built the climate and water resiliency portfolio at the Skoll Global Threats Fund, served as Associate Director at the World Economic Forum’s Environmental Initiative in Switzerland, and was on the World Bank’s South Asia team focused on climate resiliency and transboundary water challenges. Sylvia began her career as a consulting engineer designing water projects in the United States and the United Kingdom. She is an engineering graduate of McGill University and MIT.
