Tara Gupta

Tara Gupta is the Founder and CEO of Map Collective, a deep-tech SaaS company pioneering agentic AI–driven multi-tier supply chain traceability for global brands and defense systems. Under her leadership, Map Collective has developed proprietary AI agents that integrate ERP, supplier, and satellite data to automate compliance and forecast cascading risks across complex value chains — from mining to final product.

A four-time National Science Foundation grant awardee, Tara has guided Map Collective through multi-million-dollar R&D funding and partnerships with Fortune 500 corporations and U.S. defense agencies. Her work advances the frontier of AI, sustainability, and national resilience, addressing global regulations such as EUDR, CSRD, UFLPA, and CBAM.

Tara holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and an MBA from Georgetown University, combining design thinking, systems strategy, and technical innovation to build scalable, human-centered solutions. She frequently speaks on AI governance, supply chain transparency, and sustainable trade.
