Tony Fritz is Director of Sustainability at Republic Services, where he leads integration of sustainability into corporate strategy and value creation. His team drives sustainability company-wide by harnessing data to help customers reduce their environmental impact through reporting and analytics. Tony also works with stakeholders to track, update and communicate sustainability goals, and to develop associated business opportunities.
Tony joined Republic Services in 2024 after 25 years in the investment management industry. Before joining Republic, he was a portfolio manager with Norges Bank Investment Management for 12 years. There, he managed a global public equity fund focused on environmental and industrial companies. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
