Vanessa Pereira

Vanessa Pereira is a lawyer and Head of Biodiversity at Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS) with more than 15 years of experience, having worked with environmental public policies at national and international level, biodiversity & business. She has expertise in the engagement of private sector and multistakeholder projects, havind worked in the private sector in Brazil and Qatar. She has a Master’s degree in Social Sciences in Development, Agriculture and Society and she is a specialist in environmental law and bioethics. Also, is a volunteer at the Climate Reality Leadership Corps in Brazil and participates as researcher pro bono in the Research Group on Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development – GEMA / UFRJ and Observatory of Partnerships in Protected Areas – OPAP/ UFRRJ.
