Dr. Ivanova has 25 years of experience in Sustainability and EHS consulting. She is an accomplished Sustainability practitioner with broad international experience. She regularly speaks at conferences, leads industry collaborations and has numerous publications on ESG and Sustainability topics. In 2022, 2023 and again in 2025, she was recognized among the Sustainability Magazine Top Women in Sustainability. She was also ranked by the Consulting Report among the Top 25 Sustainability Leaders in Consulting of 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Dr. Ivanova has assisted numerous Fortune 500 clients from a variety of sectors including pharmaceuticals, consumer, oil and gas, chemical, mining, and utilities with the development and implementation of their sustainability strategies and programs. Veli has supported a wide range of client organizations with embedding sustainability across their value chains and products.
Dr. Ivanova is a Partner at EY and has held several senior Sustainability positions, currently serving as the EY Global Chief Sustainability Strategist. In this role, Veli drives the advancement of EY’s Sustainability ambition and initiatives in a way that increases the long-term value for the firm and its clients.
