Vrushali Gaud is a visionary leader driving systemic change for a cleaner, more equitable future,integrating sustainability, clean energy, and new tech into corporate strategies.
Currently a Global Director at Google, she is responsible for delivering on NetZero, water and circularity ambitions. Her focus includes strategy, portfolio planning, accounting, and digital infrastructure across operations and its value chain.
Prior to that, as a Managing Director at Accenture, she helped build and scale the sustainability practice, with a focus on climate risk, carbon emissions management and ESG technology solutions. Vrushali started her career as an engineer in the automotive sector (Tata Motors, Cummins Inc.), and subsequently worked in the policy and advocacy space as an advisor for (IIRC, CII) to accelerate the adoption of sustainability across Asia.
Vrushali has a B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Pune Univ. India; a M.Sc in Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin – Madison and an MBA from Kelley University, USA.
Her experiences having lived and worked in US, UK and Southeast Asia have shaped her belief that every person, every job, every company can thrive at the intersection of ‘impact’ and ‘value’ .. and strive towards a newer vision of capitalism.
