Wesley Herche

Director of Enterprise Sustainability
Prologis
Wesley Herche is the Director of Enterprise Sustainability – Americas, at Prologis. In this role, he is responsible for driving sustainability strategy and initiatives, supporting both Prologis’ corporate sustainability commitments and its customers’ efforts to decarbonize. Wes focuses on advancing on-site renewable energy, battery storage, commercial EV charging infrastructure, and supplier decarbonization. This work is a key driver in achieving Prologis’ net-zero goals, and helps Prologis customers optimize efficiency, resiliency, and sustainability.

 

Before joining Prologis, Wes held multiple leadership roles at Amazon, most recently serving as Global Lead for Supplier Decarbonization within the Global Procurement Organization. Prior to Amazon, he was a Strategy Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), advising organizations on sustainability and operational strategy. Wes also served in a prior role as Associate Director of Research at Arizona State University, where his work centered on interdisciplinary research and innovation in efficiency, security, and sustainability.

 

Earlier in his career, Wes worked as a Senior Intelligence Officer and National Agency Representative with the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, applying analytical expertise to national security and strategic intelligence operations during various long-term assignments in the US, Iraq, the UK, and Japan.

 

Wes holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a PhD in Sustainability from Arizona State University.
