Yara Barkopolous

Yara Barkopoulos has extensive experience in the distribution of technology products and services, with a focus on sustainable business practices. For the past 10 years, she has spearheaded Value Recovery strategies for several companies, including recycling, repair, and retail of refurbished electronic products, demonstrating a strong understanding of the circular economy.

In 2019, Yara joined Google to lead their Global Value Recovery program. In this role, she champions sustainability initiatives that align with Google’s environmental and social responsibility goals, such as reducing carbon emissions and achieving over 90% landfill diversion through the global circularity of excess and obsolete assets from Google’s technical infrastructure.
