Zachary Berquist

Dr. Zachary Berquist currently serves as a Fellow at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E), where he is helping developing programs in carbon dioxide removal, nuclear heat for industrial chemical processing, data center heat re-use, and transportation modal shifting.
Before ARPA-E, Dr. Berquist received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where he was an NSF GRFP Fellow, a Mistletoe Research Fellow, and a Dow Sustainability Fellow. After completing his PhD, Dr. Berquist spent one year at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Researcher before moving to his current role.
