Over the last two decades, The Westly Group has partnered with exceptional entrepreneurs at the earliest stages of their companies. In 2008, we invested in a 29-person team called Tesla when Elon Musk set out to create the first mass-market electric vehicle company. In 2014, we invested in the Series A round of Sentinel One and have participated in every round after, backing Tomer Weingarten and the team to help build the future of endpoint cybersecurity. In 2017, we partnered with Austin Russell and Luminar in their journey to build automotive grade LiDAR for an autonomous future.
