Brendan Edgerton

Brendan Edgerton is the Director of Product & Portfolio Sustainability for 3M, where his team is responsible for steering the product portfolio towards sustainability. His responsibilities include managing the internal LCA team, supporting R&D teams in integrating sustainability into innovations and advising divisions on environmental marketing claims. Prior to 3M, he has most recently held positions as Head of Sustainability at Designit and the Director of Circular Economy at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. At WBCSD, he managed the creation of the Circular Electronics Partnership, contributed to the establishment of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste and oversaw the delivery of the Circular Transition Indicators. His work experience also includes LCA and LCCA projects with Walt Disney Imagineering, renewable energy and energy efficiency projects with Office Depot and LEED/green building consulting with Green Dinosaur, Inc. Brendan has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment and a B.A. in Ecological Design from the University of California Santa Cruz.
