Cam Metcalf

Cam Metcalf, Executive Director, Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center, is a national leader in pollution prevention and energy efficiency technical assistance, training and applied research with a career that spans more than 30 years. He joined KPPC as Executive Director in 1995. His experience in P2 evolution and sustainability also include tenures at the University of Tennessee's Center for Industrial Services, where he served as a Training Manager and Waste Reduction Engineer; the University of North Carolina-Asheville, where he was Director of both the Environmental Quality Institute and Project FireHAT-Hazardous Awareness Teamwork; and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where he worked as an Environmental and Physical Scientist. Cam earned a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering & Environmental Science from the University of Oklahoma and has served on the Boards of Directors for: the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable, the Kentuckiana Certified Hazardous Materials Managers Chapter (KCHMM), the Louisville Advanced Technology Council and the Kentucky International Environmental Trade Initiative.
