Daniel Nepstad

Dan Nepstad is executive director of and senior scientist at the Earth Innovation Institute, co-founder of IPAM, Aliança da Terra, and the Roundtable for Responsible Soy. He holds a Ph.D. in Forest Ecology from Yale University. He has worked in the Amazon for over 27 years studying the effects of climate change, policy and land-use on Amazon forests. He is also a lead author on the 5th IPCC Assessment Report.
