Dave Douglas
Dave Douglas has spent his career in high tech and began focusing on sustainability in 2005. Dave co-authored "Citizen Engineer: A Handbook for Socially Responsible Engineering" and maintains the blog Near Walden. Previously, Dave was chief sustainability office and senior vice president of cloud computing at Sun Microsystems before its acquisition by Oracle. He oversaw all of Sun's cloud computing efforts, as well as NetBeans and OpenOffice. Dave earned bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT.
