David Craig

David Craig is president of the Financial & Risk division at Thomson Reuters, the leading provider of financial information, news, analytics trading and risk solutions, with revenues of $6.2 billion. He oversees operations in 150 countries with 16,500 employees. David is an industry thought leader on technology, innovation and regulation. He has been ranked consistently in the "top 15 global leaders and innovators in financial services technology" by  Institutional Investor Magazine over the past five years; this year he ranked No. 7.He is on the steering committee of the World Economic Forum’s Digital Disruption in Financial Services and currently chairs the CityUK China Markets Advisory Group on FinTech, in association with the CBBC (China Britain Business Council). He is on the board of the Atlantic Council, the advisory board of the City UK, and the board of the Thomson Reuters Foundation. He also several FinTech start-ups. He joined the corporate board of Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2017.Prior to Thomson Reuters, David was a partner at McKinsey, focusing on business technology. He started his career as a software developer building risk, trading and telecommunications systems.
