Dawn Selak

Dawn Selak is the communications manager for the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEE). She provides strategic communications guidance and manages media relations.Prior to joining ACEEE in 2017, Selak served as a spokesperson for the US Department of Treasury and the U.S. Department of Energy. As DOE press secretary, she helped manage overall communications activities. She shaped messaging and coordinated media outreach on a variety of issues including energy efficiency, foreign policy and renewable energy projects and grants. Selak earned a bachelor of arts in public communication from American University, with concentrations in political science and international studies.
