Gregory Unruh, Ph.D., is the Arison Group Endowed Professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. He is a noted writer, speaker and educator in the areas of corporate social responsibility, environmental management and innovation management.
Dr. Unruh co-founded the Center for Eco-Intelligent Management with renowned "green" designer William McDonough and also has served as a technical reviewer for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the group that shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize with former Vice President Al Gore. He has contributed to the development of the "United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education," which he presented to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in 2007.
Dr. Unruh is a frequent contributor to the Harvard Business Review and also publishes extensively in academic journals. He is a blogger for both Forbes magazine and the Huffington Post and is often sought out for interviews in popular media outlets.
Dr. Unruh earned his Ph.D. in international technology and environmental management from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, his MA in international affairs and business from Schiller International University in Madrid and Paris, and his BS in the earth sciences from the University of California.
