Haley Leslie-Bole is a research analyst II with WRI's U.S. Climate Initiative, where she works on landscape-scale solutions for climate mitigation and adaptation in the U.S. Haley conducts policy-relevant research and analysis of social, environmental, and equity components of nature-based carbon removal and land management. She also supports U.S. states in conducting greenhouse gas inventories in natural and working lands as part of WRI's Impact Partnership with the U.S. Climate Alliance.
Haley holds a Masters of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment with a focus on environmental policy and environmental justice, and a BA in Environmental Anthropology from Colorado College. Previously she worked as an environmental science educator for NatureBridge in Yosemite National Park and worked to build coalitions to support soil-friendly ranching practices with the Quivira Coalition in New Mexico.
