Lawren Cooper

Lawren Cooper is a Director of Sustainability at PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA). PBNA is PepsiCo’s $26 billion beverage business in North America which includes Global Foodservice as well as an iconic portfolio of beverages including Pepsi, Gatorade, bubly, MTN DEW, STARRY, Starbucks ready- to-drink coffee, LIFEWTR, Lipton, Rockstar Energy Drink and a strategic distribution partnership with CELSIUS.  In her current role, Lawren is accountable for spearheading key pep+ (PepsiCo Positive) initiatives aimed at progressing sustainability throughout PBNA’s business processes.  pep+ is PepsiCo’s strategic end-to-end transformation that puts sustainability and human capital at the center of how we will create value and growth by operating within planetary boundaries and inspiring positive change for planet and people. Lawren oversees PBNA sustainability programs, including water replenishment, Alliance for Water Stewardship Standard adoption, and PBNA’s effort to achieve virtually zero waste to landfill in their direct operations. Prior to this role, Lawren was PBNA’s Environmental Sustainability Manager. Lawren earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a dual Master’s degree in Environmental Health Sciences and Industrial Hygiene from the University of Michigan. She enjoys spending time outside with her husband and two daughters.
