Luis Aguirre-Torres is the director of sustainability for the City of Ithaca, N.Y. He is also co-chair of the New York State Climate Impact Assessment, Society and Economy, and member of the World Economic Forum’s Clean Electrification Senior Executive Group. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical and electronic engineering from University College London and a certificate in Financing and Deploying Clean Energy from Yale University.
