Nancy Cleveland is chief executive officer and co-founder of Sustrana. She leads content and tool development for Sustrana's unique software platform, engaging with both the subject matter and developer teams. Nancy focuses on delivering a streamlined and accessible product based on user feedback. She has extensive experience in enabling businesses to realize performance improvements through sustainability best practices.Prior to co-founding Sustrana, Nancy served as senior vice president and director of sustainability for Equus Capital Partners, Ltd., a national real estate investment and development company. Before redirecting her career to sustainability, Nancy was a successful real estate and telecommunications attorney with 26 years of experience, including management positions as a partner with the Philadelphia-based regional law firm Saul Ewing LLP.Nancy is co-chair of the Governance and Sustainability joint sub-committee of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section. In this capacity, she writes and speaks on a variety of sustainability matters related to corporate governance, investing, and reporting. She holds the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Green Globes Professional, and successfully has completed the Sustainability Consortium Service Provider and the GRI G4 reporting guidelines training and examination programs.
