Paolo Romanacci

Paolo Romanacci is head of North America for Enel Green Power, managing the company’s business in the United States and Canada, where he leads a team of more than 700 people.  Paolo brings more than two decades of experience in the renewables sector to Enel Green Power North America, leveraging his international leadership to grow the company in the region. He joined Enel in 2006 and since then has been appointed to various strategic roles, most recently serving as head of Enel Green Power in Mexico and Central America. Prior to that he led the Operation and Maintenance Business for Enel’s Renewables operations in Italy and served as director of business development for Latin America. Prior to his arrival at Enel, he worked for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in Washington D.C., Techspace Aero (Liège, Belgium) and Altran Italia (Rome, Italy). He holds a degree in aerospace, aeronautics and astronautical engineering from the University of Rome La Sapienza, as well as studies of management and leadership in the energy sector by IESE Business School — SDA Bocconi.
