Sachi Graber

Sachi Graber is an associate with Rocky Mountain Institute’s electricity practice. Sachi is a member of the Sustainable Energy for Economic Development (SEED) program, which works to accelerate affordable, reliable and clean energy access in sub-Saharan Africa by working closely with governments to develop robust and integrated national electrification strategies spanning on-grid and off-grid solutions. Her work currently focuses on off-grid development in Nigeria.Prior to joining RMI in 2017, Sachi gained experience in energy systems and in sustainable development through her education and experience as a Peace Corps volunteer. She earned her Master’s degree from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and Environment, where she focused on rural renewable energy systems and development. She specifically researched and published on solar minigrid policy and implementation in Uttar Pradesh, India. Before returning to graduate school, Sachi worked with Peace Corps Namibia for three years as a math and science education volunteer.
