Sonal Mahida

As director of CSR & Sustainability Practice at Indelable, Sonal Mahida has nearly 20 years of experience working on ESG investing and sustainability issues at institutional investors, Fortune 100 companies and non-profits. She has a deep understanding of how CSR initiatives and engagement create value for corporations. Mahida is a former vice president of CDP. She has spoken on sustainability and climate change topics at over 20 leading events from investor roundtables to major business conferences. Before joining CDP in 2008, Sonal was a senior governance analyst at TIAA-CREF, where she helped developed the firm's social environmental proxy voting guidelines, led dialogues and engagements on ESG issues with portfolio companies, and was responsible for proxy voting on these issues. She holds an M.B.A. in non-profit management as well as finance from Boston University's School of Management and a B.A. from Barnard College.
