Svena Bhasin

Svena Bhasin leads clients through renewable energy strategy and implementation. She is an expert on a variety of renewable energy solutions (VPPAs, community solar, onsite solar, etc.) and is able to help clients take advantage of the best solutions and local incentives available across renewable electricity markets. She ensures that her team delivers impeccable financial and risk assessments so that selected solutions always meet clients’ needs and priorities, from procurement through contract execution and system operations. She also leads Coho’s recruiting and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, maximizing the continued growth of the team and its capabilities. Prior to Coho, Svena worked at the U.S. Department of Energy, supporting the Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability on research related to energy storage technology development, policy, and implementation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Georgetown University and speaks Hindi, French, and Italian. She enjoys cooking and exploring new restaurants in the DC area.
