Join us for a field trip to Coyote Valley hosted by the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority, which conserves the natural environment, supports agriculture and connects people to nature, by protecting open spaces, natural areas and working farms and ranches for future generations. Located in the rural greenbelt between San José and Morgan Hill, Coyote Valley is often referred to as a “Last Chance Landscape.” Connecting over 1.1 million acres of critical wildlife habitat between the Santa Cruz Mountains and Diablo Range, the valley floor is notable for its unique habitats, wildlife, scenic beauty, recreational areas, farmland and water resources.
