About the session

What’s covered

Have you ever seen sheep on a solar site, wondered about dual-use solar, the integration of agriculture with energy production – how it works, what the next big trends are, and the changes and developments in this fast-growing, innovative industry? These critical questions, and more, will be addressed during this Pivot Energy-sponsored session, “From Field to Grids: The Rise of Dual-Use Solar.” This is split-session – presentation, panel, and audience participation.

Featuring Angie Burke, Director of Operations at Pivot Energy:

To kick off the session, Angie Burke, Pivot’s Director of Operation & Maintenance, who oversees Pivot’s industry leading agrivoltaics program across the country, will unveil an entertaining, educational, heartfelt, visual mini-documentary video showcasing how a solar developer (Pivot) works with different partners – from the sheep, to a sheep grazer – to develop these impactful dual use solar projects that benefit the community, the land, and environment. This is a brand-new video that Pivot produced and this is the first-time it’s being shown.

The Presentation:

After the video, that may leave you a little teary-eyed, Angie will provide a comprehensive, insightful, provocative, and interactive presentation that will address the tough questions being asked today about agrivoltaics.

The Panel:

Following Angie’s presentation, Mat Elmore, SVP of Strategic Accounts at Pivot, will moderate, Pivot’s “From Fields to Grids – The Rise of Dual-Use Solar” interactive pane to explore these questions further, and hear what key leaders across this industry have to say, including Greg Plotkin from American Farmland Trust, Erik Davis, a landowner from Colorado, and finally, Pivot’s Angie Burke will also participate on the panel.

Don’t miss this session!

You will walk away from it informed, excited, and ready to integrate agrivoltaics into your corporate solar projects. Don’t be left behind in this key solar configuration that is becoming more common daily and growing exponentially in adoption and successes.
