About the session

What’s covered

Hear experts unpack the evolving climate tech investment landscape and what it means for our climate 2050 goals.

Over the past two years (post ZIRP era) climate tech startups and investors have weathered a reality of rising interest rates, constrained capital markets, and geopolitical headwinds.

Throughout 2025, in the face of uncertain policy, government funding freezes and more, funding flows have exacerbated trends that put our climate goals at increasing risk.

This session will unpack the current state of early stage funding (funding flows, sector trends, exits or lack thereof), examine areas of climate lacking investment, and discuss the long-term implications of today’s investment flows. Expect sharp insights on emerging opportunities, an overview of where we’re falling short to fund mitigation, adaptation and resilience, and a call to action to capital allocators on how to fill the gaps.
