Amanda Gardiner is Head of ESG at Meta, driving the company’s ESG strategy, governance, engagement and reporting. Previously, she was Director of Corporate Responsibility at Verizon and VP of Sustainability & Social Innovation at Pearson. Before joining the private sector, Amanda established and headed the UN’s ‘Business Call to Action’ initiative. She was also a Program Director for the Prince of Wales’ International Business Leaders Forum in London, and ran the Secretariat for the Voluntary Principles on Security & Human Rights’.
Amanda is a Presidential Leadership Scholar (2023). She co-founded and is a board member of Children in Conflict (a global non-profit supporting children impacted by war), a board member of Net Impact, and a Senior Fellow of the Business Fights Poverty Institute. She also serves as a mentor for Ceresa and Unreasonable Group, plays way too much pickleball, and sings in a rock/soul/blues band.
