Catherine Huyett

Catherine Huyett is a manager in RMI’s Climate-Aligned Industries Program, where she drives efforts to decarbonize the chemical and materials sectors. She works at the intersection of manufacturing, materials, and climate, helping consumer goods companies develop low-emissions materials strategies across products like packaging and textiles. Catherine leads life cycle assessment and techno-economic analysis to identify and scale high-impact solutions, and contributes to RMI thought leadership on electrification, sustainable plastics, and next-generation chemical pathways. She also leads innovation roadmaps that accelerate emerging technologies from concept to deployment. Prior to RMI, Catherine held engineering and operations roles at ExxonMobil and Anheuser-Busch, bringing deep industry experience to her work. She holds a BS in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Tufts University.
