Greg Plotkin
Before moving to his current role in 2023, Greg served in several positions across AFT’s Development, Communications, and Program departments over the previous 16 years. Most recently, as Director of Digital Communications, Greg drove unprecedented growth of AFT’s digital properties through the creation of cutting-edge marketing and engagement campaigns, including America’s Farmers Market Celebration, Free Range Conversations with AFT, and the Farmer Relief Fund.
In addition to his work with AFT, Greg has also served in a fundraising and communications capacity with several leading nonprofit organizations, including The Edible Schoolyard Project, Trees for the Future, Eat Real, and Rainforest Action Network. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Sebastopol Farmers Market in Sonoma County, CA. He previously served as the Board of Directors President of Tahoe Food Hub, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a thriving local food system in North Lake Tahoe. Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and currently resides in Sonoma County, CA.
