Hassan Amini

Dr. Hassan Amini is the CEO and co-founder of Intel-E-Waste, a technology company developing modular systems to recover critical and valuable materials from end-of-electronics. He brings more than a decade of experience across industry, academia, and applied research in mineral processing, recycling, process development, and technology scale-up. Before founding Intel-E-Waste, he held technical and academic roles at MP Materials, KGHM, West Virginia University, and Virginia Tech. His work focuses on transforming complex waste streams into higher-value material products that support domestic manufacturing, circular supply chains, and reduced reliance on overseas processing. At Intel-E-Waste, he leads commercialization strategy, industry partnerships, customer discovery, and deployment planning for the company’s recycling platforms. He is also an active member of the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA), contributing to industry discussions on recycling innovation, critical materials, and circular supply chains.
