Jaden Barney

Jaden is a Senior Sustainability Analyst at Legrand. Building upon a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and prior experience as a Senior iPhone Product Design Engineer at Apple, Jaden’s core goal is advancing Legrand’s ambitious company-level sustainability goals by embedding circularity into the day-to-day work of the Legrand teams designing products essential to the modern-day built environment infrastructure.

As a sustainability subject matter expert, Jaden integrates directly with Legrand product teams to tackle eliminating single use plastic packaging, identify and implement new circular business models, and develop educational programming to train Legrand engineers and product managers on the fundamentals of circular design. Jaden collaboratively designed and manages Legrand’s internal sustainability metrics for new product development, creating digital tools to incentivize and target reduction in the designed embodied carbon of products through LCA data feedback loops.
