Jane Eisenhardt

Jane is a member of EDF’s Net Zero Action Acceleration team working with both Environmental Defense Fund and the Climate Champions Team under the UN High-level Climate Champions to accelerate the Race to Zero (RTZ) global campaign. In her role, Jane works closely with stakeholders to drive the delivery of net zero commitments by non-State actors and mobilize new actors to boldly join the Race. Jane has worked with EDF since February 2023. Prior to joining EDF, she worked for the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) liaising with North American member states and partners on key issues related to nature, restoration, and water and she led regional projects focusing on marine protected areas and plastic pollution action. Before joining UNEP, Jane worked in the sustainable food space with NGOs focusing on food policy, sustainable agriculture, and good food access.
