Serving as Chief Executive Officer of Tandem Global*, Margaret works with multinational corporations to embed nature, climate resilience, and social impact into their sustainability strategies, operations, and supply chain.
Under her leadership, Tandem Global has become a go-to partner for Fortune 500 companies like General Motors, Exelon, Chevron, and BASF who are seeking to develop nature strategies and actionable frameworks. These efforts have driven over 1,000 implementation projects across 28 countries, directly linking ecological restoration and community engagement to enterprise-level EHS and ESG goals.
She led the design of WHC Certification, powered by Tandem Global, an international program that translates executive sustainability vision into measurable, site-based outcomes. Her leadership has elevated Tandem Global into a premier partner for companies seeking to lead – not follow – on nature and climate.
Margaret is also a published author and dynamic speaker. Her book, Strategic Corporate Conservation Planning, has become an essential resource for executives looking to unlock business value through conservation. She is a vocal advocate for private-sector leadership in ecosystem restoration, resilience-building, and social impact, championing the idea that sustainability is not just a responsibility, but a growth opportunity.
She currently serves on BASF’s Nature Advisory Council and the Guidance Committee for the North American Biodiversity and Climate Change Assessment, where she brings a pragmatic perspective to global environmental challenges.
*Tandem Global was formed in 2025 through the merger of the Wildlife Habitat Council and the World Environment Center.
