Meghan Shaw is the Outreach Director of the Cambridge Energy Alliance at the City of Cambridge. Since 2010, she has led the city’s residential and small business energy efficiency and renewable energy programs. She launched the City’s municipal aggregation program, Cambridge Community Electricity in 2017 with a focus on bringing more renewable energy to the community’s 40,000 participants. She also supports policy-making for Cambridge’s Net Zero Action Plan for buildings, focused on eliminating climate change emissions from the residential and small-to-medium business sectors.
Prior to joining the City, Meghan worked at several renewable energy start-ups, an environmental consulting firm serving the federal DOE and EPA, and as a grassroots environmental community organizer for regional and national nonprofit organizations.
