Melissa Bauer

Melissa Bauer is the ESG and Sustainability Strategy Lead at eBay. Melissa comes to eBay with over 10 years of ESG and sustainability experience, with deep expertise in GHG and climate strategies, circular economy strategies, sustainable packaging, ESG reporting, supply chain sustainability, and coalition building. At eBay Melissa holds a wide variety of responsibilities including leading eBay’s efforts on ESG and impact reporting and development and implementation of eBay’s decarbonization and net zero strategy. Additionally, Melissa leads eBay’s VP-level cross functional teams aimed at engaging internal and external stakeholders on the decarbonization of parcel shipping and recommerce. She holds a Masters in Sustainable Business Strategies from Duke University and lives with her family in Denver, CO.
