Nora Hennings

Nora Hennings is the Senior Director of Strategy and Asset Performance at Sunrun, the leading home solar and battery storage company in the US, where she oversees portfolio optimization and financial performance. She stepped into this role in March, after serving as Sunrun’s Head of Fleet & Facilities, where she assumed oversight of the national organization and drove large-scale operational and infrastructure transformations across the corporate vehicle fleet and real estate portfolio. In her tenure at Sunrun, Nora has driven market expansion opportunities across EV charging, grid services, virtual power plants, and whole-home electrification. Notably, she negotiated and led Sunrun’s landmark partnership with Ford Motor Company, including the design and commercialization of bi-directional charging for the F-150 Lightning. Prior to Sunrun, Nora focused on product commercialization and origination strategy at NextEra Energy’s Distributed Generation business and began her career on the Commodities Trading Desk at Credit Suisse in New York. She received her MBA with Honors from Harvard Business School and earned her Bachelors in Engineering Sciences with High Honors from Harvard College. Nora currently serves as an Operating Advisor for PeakSpan Capital and previously served as Co-President of non-profit YPE SF Bay Area.
