Russell Gong

Russ is President and Co-Founder of Cabinet Health, a sustainable healthcare company committed to eliminating single-use plastic in medicine. He is a sustainable product specialist and a U.S. Army Officer in the Connecticut Army National Guard. As a mission-driven innovator, he possesses a unique ability to align social or environmental problems with a business model. Russ started his career working in state and federal legislatures before transitioning into the private sector. He met co-founder Achal Patel while launching and running a social innovation program which focused on identifying mission-driven and sustainable start-ups and helping them scale as businesses. Russ enlisted in the U.S. Army at age 26 and continues to serve. Born in Singapore and raised internationally as the son of a U.S. diplomat, Russ now lives in Connecticut with his wife and young sons.
