Juan Tricarico

Juan M. Tricarico is senior vice president -environmental research at Dairy Management Inc. His work focuses on sustainable milk production to support efforts by the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy to drive trust and sales in milk and dairy foods. He holds a licentiate degree in biology from Universidad CAECE in Buenos Aires, Argentina and a Ph.D. in animal science from the University of Kentucky. He also worked at Alltech Inc. where he developed and evaluated feed additives focused on ruminal fermentation and its implications on ruminal microbiology, carbohydrate fermentation and nitrogen use in ruminants. He is past president for the Council of Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST) and serves on various committees related to agriculture and dairy.
