Maggie Noe

Maggie Noe is a junior double majoring in Global Studies and Entrepreneurship at Washington University. In high schoo,l she started getting involved in environmental sustainability by canvassing for a nonprofit environmental organization, the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG). This initiated her interest in sustainability and social issues. Understanding the significance of companies in shifting cultural and societal norms, she co-founded and leads the organization Businesses United in Diversity which highlights and supports minority-owned businesses. At the same time, she interns at Mighty Cricket, a sustainable food startup, and hosts a podcast where she and a guest talk about worldly issues and ideas. In her future work, she hopes to further explore the intersection of global issues and capitalism and how we can use business to foster social and environmental change. She also hosts the podcast Noe It All.
